As I watched the footage of the assassination attempt of former President Donald Trump, my thought was. "Did this really happen?" Why do we have to revert to this type of violence during a presidential campaign?
Al Perrotta, in his article entitled:‘Grateful’ Trump Opens Up About the Attempt on His Life and How It Has Impacted His Campaign', reveals some thoughts that former President Trump had after the assination attempt. One of the thoughts he had, was concerning how close he came to having a deadly outcome. You will read about this in this article.
Also how he felt that his speech for the National Republican Convention, was not adequate in light of what he went through. Certainly a life changing experience, that will make a mark in our nation's history.
